Neo Geo MVS- 1 Slot COM: 80 100 Neo Geo MVS- 2 Slot COM: 115 130 Neo Geo MVS- 4 Slot COM: 150 160. Being the master of all things asthetic game-hacking I designed a few console cases for various Neo Geo arcade 1 slot boards Neo Geo MVS MV-1C. This console uses the last model Neo Geo 1 slot arcade board, the same board I used in my Neo Geo portable. The case is all brushed aluminum with completely pointless air vent slits. Revisons: There are 6 revisions of the 1 slot board, MV-1, MV-1A, MV-1B, MV-1C, MV-1F, MV-1FZ. If you have a choice, the MV-1 and MV-1F boards are the ones to pick, having stereo support and joystick ports, the MV-1 board is also the only 1 slot board to support for the MV-IC memory board. Re: Neo Geo 4 slot game switch button Post by julius blaze » September 27th, 2012, 6:54 am Sorry I'm an idiot, so any person that googles this problem and is reading this years from now: Set Dipswitch 1 to 'on' to get into the service menu on bootup, go into Soft DIP and change the ability to switch games to 'FREE' and you can change game at.
It's pretty rare to see a 6 slot in good condition. Most of the time they've been beat up and in Keith's case, it was no different. From powder coating the control panel, to replacing the LED displays, it seems he's done an amazing job bringing this guy back from the dead. Also gotta love the nice and tidy shock box colletion. Rarest game: I don't think I have any truly rare games yet, but Waku Waku 7 was the toughest pick up so far.
Favorite game: Metal Slug 3
Anything about the Neo Geo world: I've wanted a Neo Geo system since I saw the ads for the AES in GamePro and the MVS machines in the arcades in the 90's. Last year I decided it was time and began to look for a 1-slot board to consolize. It seemed like the smart, lowest barrier to entry. During my search, a big red 6-slot cab just happened to show up on Craigslist and I couldn't resist. Of course, I had no idea what I was doing with an arcade cabinet…
